TEXA AM04 2-pin diagnostic cable – Marine Mercury / Mariner

The TEXA AM04 2-pin Professional Diagnostic Cable is designed to directly connect the diagnostic interface to the 2-pin socket on Mercury and Mariner engines in a Marine environment. It allows electronic diagnostics to be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s protocols and to read information from the control units.

The product is part of the TEXA diagnostic system and works with IDC6 software and TEXA interfaces (e.g. Navigator TXB 2).

Application

AM04 2-pin cable is used for:

connecting the TEXA diagnostic interface to the factory 2-pin diagnostic connector used in Mercury / Mariner engines,
performing diagnostic activities in the marine environment,
cooperation with IDC6 MARINE software or other TEXA-compliant diagnostic modules.

Main diagnostic functions

Once the appropriate interface is connected and the diagnostic software is running, it is possible to:

reading fault codes,
error removal,
real-time monitoring of parameters,
tests of actuators,
reset service values (if supported by a given unit),
access to technical data and wiring diagrams (depending on the software license).
