Intelligent user guidance in IDC6
When you select a specific Yamaha motorcycle model in the IDC6 software, the system:
-
automatically indicates the correct end of the cable,
-
informs whether additional power supply is required for the 12 V tester,
-
guides the user step by step through the hookup process.
This minimizes the risk of incorrect connection and ensures that diagnostics are carried out quickly and safely.
Diagnostic capabilities
In combination with the TEXA interface and the IDC6 BIKE software, the cable enables:
-
reading and clearing fault codes,
-
preview of real parameters (Live Data),
-
tests of actuators,
-
reset of service inspections,
-
adaptations and basic settings of systems,
-
identification of drivers and software versions.
The range of functions depends on the model and year of the motorcycle.
