TEXA AM18 Diagnostic Cable – Volvo Penta EGC (8-pin)
TEXA AM18 is a terminal cable designed for diagnostics of Volvo Penta engines equipped with an EGC (Electronic Gas Control) control unit and a rectangular 8-pin diagnostic socket. The cable enables stable diagnostic communication in accordance with the manufacturer’s procedures in the MARINE environment.
Note: The AM18 cable does not work alone and must be used in conjunction with the TEXA AM01 CAN base cable.
Intended use
The TEXA AM18 cable is used for:

electronic diagnostics of Volvo Penta engines with EGC system,

communication with the ECU via an 8-pin rectangular diagnostic socket,

work as a dedicated terminal cable in the TEXA MARINE system.
