TEXA AM27 Diagnostic Cable – D-TRONIC (MERCRUISER / MOTORI VM)
TEXA AM27 is a terminal cable designed for diagnostics of engines equipped with the D-TRONIC system, used in MerCruiser and VM Motori units. In the case of VM Motori, the cable also includes full diagnostics of all MD series motors.
Note: The AM27 cable does not work alone and must be used in conjunction with the TEXA AM01 base cable.
Intended use
The TEXA AM27 cable is used for:

electronic diagnostics of D-TRONIC motors,

communication with the engine ECU control unit,

work as a dedicated terminal cable in the TEXA MARINE system.

Power supply – important information
External power supply required
To run the diagnostic interface and perform diagnostics:

the AM01 cable must be connected to the engine/vehicle battery using power cables (crocodile clips),

In the case of units without their own battery – an external power source must be used.
