TEXA AM05 4-pin diagnostic cable – Mercury / Mariner
The TEXA AM05 4-pin is a dedicated diagnostic cable for Marine Mercury and Mariner engines equipped with a 4-pin diagnostic socket. It allows you to directly connect the TEXA diagnostic tester to the drive unit and perform full electronic diagnostics in accordance with the manufacturer’s procedures.
The product is part of the professional diagnostic system of TEXA and is designed to work in the MARINE environment.
Intended use
The AM05 cable is used to diagnose:

Mercury Marine engines with a 4-pin diagnostic socket,

Mariner motors with a 4-pin diagnostic socket.
Used in outboard engine services and marine workshops dealing with power unit electronics.
Requirements
NOTE:
The AM05 cable requires the use of the AM01 main cable.
The AM01 acts as a base adapter and is necessary for proper connection to the TEXA diagnostic interface.
Diagnostic capabilities
In combination with the TEXA interface and IDC6 MARINE software, the AM05 cable enables:

reading and clearing fault codes,
