USD (Upside-Down) Front Suspension Service Press
A simple yet highly functional workshop press designed for professional motorcycle upside-down (USD) telescopic suspension service mechanics. The tool allows safe, one-man operation when disassembling and reassembling the fork.
After placing the telescope in the press and unscrewing the top plug, it is possible to compress the suspension spring in a controlled manner with the help of properly finished screws screwed into the spacer sleeve. This gives you access to the lock nut, which can be unscrewed for full disassembly of the fork.
Dismantling the suspension is necessary, m.in, when:

replacement of springs (e.g. with progressive springs),

full and accurate service,

complete oil change,

cleaning and regeneration of components.
During installation, the press allows you to precisely position the counter nut in relation to the shock absorber stem, which is crucial for subsequent damping adjustment and proper suspension operation.
