Measuring instrument for motorcycle chain size identification
A practical measuring instrument for determining the size of motorcycle drive chains, designed for situations where the chain marking is illegible or completely invisible. The tool allows you to quickly and unambiguously determine the correct chain size, which is marked as standard in the range from 415 to 632.
With precise pitches and clear markings, chain size identification is simple and requires no specialist knowledge.
How the instrument works:
On the first side of the device, we take measurements by applying appropriate scales to the graphically indicated places on the chain:

p – distance between the rivets of the links

B1 – Internal tile spacing

d1Ø – diameter of chain rollers

Norm – chain size designation
On the second page , we compare the obtained values with the table:

p × b1 and d1Ø = Norm,
which allows you to clearly determine the right size of the chain.
