TEXA AM13 Diagnostic Cable – EVINRUDE

TEXA AM13 is a terminal cable designed for diagnostics of Evinrude engines in the MARINE environment. The cable enables diagnostic communication with the engine control unit using TEXA systems, in accordance with the manufacturer’s procedures.

Note: The AM13 cable does not work alone and must be used in conjunction with the TEXA AM01 base cable.

Intended use

The TEXA AM13 cable is used for:

electronic diagnostics of EVINRUDE engines,
communication with the engine ECU through a dedicated diagnostic socket,
work as a dedicated terminal cable in the TEXA MARINE system.

Diagnostic features

In combination with the AM01 base cable, the TEXA interface and the IDC6 MARINE software, the AM13 cable enables:

reading and clearing fault codes,
preview of real parameters (Live Data),
identification of controllers and systems,
monitoring engine operation,
implementation of service procedures available for Evinrude engines.

The range of functions depends on the specific engine model and its operation in TEXA software.

Power supply – important information

⚠️ External power supply required
To run the diagnostic interface and perform diagnostics:

the AM01 cable must be connected to the engine/vehicle battery using power cables (crocodile clips),
If there is no battery – use an external power source.
